Samsung Frame TV Art FAQ: Questions Answered
Everything you need to know about turning your Samsung Frame TV, Hisense CanvasTV, or TCL NXTVISION into a beautiful, ever-changing gallery wall.
The Essentials
The questions we hear most often — answered clearly and honestly
What is Art For Frame?
Art For Frame is a premium digital art marketplace designed specifically for matte displays.
We offer curated, high-resolution digital downloads that are optimized for Samsung Frame TV and Hisense CanvasTV. Unlike generic stock photos, our work is textured and color-graded to look like real physical art when displayed on your TV.

Is your Frame TV art AI-generated?
We view technology as a creative partner, but the human eye is the final authority.
Our collection is created through a synthesis of generative AI tools and human artistry. While we use advanced software to conceptualize composition and lighting, every piece undergoes a rigorous, hand-finished process to ensure it feels authentic in your home.
Raw digital output rarely translates well to canvas displays. That’s why our artists meticulously refine every image—adjusting grain, brushstroke depth, and color temperature specifically for the matte sensors of the Samsung Frame TV, Hisense CanvasTV, and TCL NXTVISION. The result is art that doesn't just look like a screensaver, but behaves like a painting.
Looking ahead: We are committed to expanding the definition of digital art. In 2026, we are launching our Artist Partnership Program to feature works from traditional painters and photographers, curating a diverse marketplace that celebrates both digital innovation and traditional craft.
What makes Art For Frame different from the Samsung Art Store?
We focus on ownership and curation.
Each artwork is a one-time purchase, not a rental. Unlike the Samsung Art Store's subscription model where you lose access if you stop paying, you keep your files forever.
Furthermore, our Curator’s Pass allows you to build a permanent library with store credit rather than paying monthly rental fees.
How much does each digital artwork cost?
Whether you buy one piece or join as a member, you own your art forever.
Unlike streaming services where you lose access if you cancel, our Curator’s Pass is designed for building a permanent collection. Every piece you redeem with your credits is yours to keep, display, and transfer indefinitely—even if you end your membership.
Membership Benefits:
- Standard ($20/month): Receive $50 in store credit.
- Pro ($30/month): Receive $100 in store credit.
This gives you the purchasing power to acquire 5–10 pieces monthly at a fraction of the cost. Credits roll over, and you can cancel anytime. It is the smartest way to curate a high-quality rotation for your Samsung Frame, Hisense CanvasTV, or TCL display.
Not ready to join? Single pieces are always available for $9.99.
Setup & Display
Making your digital gallery look perfect
What file format and resolution do downloads come in?
You’ll receive a high-quality PNG at 3840×2160 (4K).
We choose PNG over JPG because it ensures sharp detail and smooth gradients, which is essential for the realistic display of brushstrokes on Samsung Frame TV and Hisense CanvasTV matte screens.
Do I need to resize the art before uploading?
No resizing is needed.
Our files are delivered at 4K (3840×2160) in a 16:9 aspect ratio, perfectly matching the native resolution of Samsung Frame TV, Hisense CanvasTV, and TCL NXTVISION.
If your specific model crops differently, simply use the TV’s fit/crop settings during upload.
Is the art compatible with Samsung Frame TV and Hisense CanvasTV?
Yes. All pieces are optimized for both platforms in Art/Photo modes. Whether you are using the Samsung SmartThings app or the Hisense CanvasTV mode, our 16:9 4K files will display perfectly.
How do I upload art to my TV?
It’s quick and simple:
- Samsung Frame TV: Use the SmartThings app (Add Your Photos → select file → set mat/fit).
- Hisense CanvasTV: Use the built-in Art/Photos app, USB, or supported mobile app depending on your model.
We provide step-by-step instructions after checkout and in our upload guide.
